We stop by at least twice a month. Great homemade hamburgers. Dinner buffet is great. Would go more often but we live 2 hours away. Ever in Cadiz or going to LBL, you need to stop in.

Great little place. Great staff, home cooked food, fair prices.

Good food. Staff friendly. Needs a little updating. I'm from a state that doesn't allow smoking inside building. So I am always taken aback when I walk in and get hit with cigarette smoke. And let me vent for a minute. Why is the smoking section always in the front so non-smoking people have to walk through it to get to their section.

Food has been better in past. Sausage patties were cold. Usually we enjoy the buffet. Not so much today.

This was 2nd time to go there. Buffet wasn't as hot as it should be for my taste. A child wouldn't have to blow on it to cool it down. But the food is flavored good

My wife and I enjoyed a nice buffet lunch here for our anniversary 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 The sweet tea 🥤 was awesome also. Easy on the wallet 💸 The pot roast 🍲 was delicious ! The fish 🐟 was lightly battered and not over cooked 😋

The food here was amazing. Good prices too. The people who work here are all very friendly and keep on top of everything even though it has been super slammed. Guess that's what happens when you serve the best food in town.. :) the people come in just as quickly as the others leave and there is never an empty seat for more time than it takes to clean the table.

They had a little buffet open till 2 pm. The fried chicken and rolls were amazing. The rest of the food was good, also.

Good service and good food and great prices. If you're visiting Cadiz try them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I'd compare this place to the diner in Mayberry. Everyone knows everyone here. Service is very friendly with twangy talking waitresses. Definitely a good atmosphere for eating local. The food on the buffet is hit and miss. Some days are better than others. The sweet tea is too sweet on many days so we order an extra glass of ice and mix it in as we drink to get a better balance of sweet. The menu is limited but very good. Breakfast is offered all day. The grill is always busy but they keep up with orders. The western omelet is one of my favorites off the menu. Eat here and your wallet will thank me. It's a little bit of a drive off the interstate but worth it. No alcohol is served here (reason for 3 stars).

Yummy home cookin'. Not your place if you're overly diet conscious. Better yet, save up calories and just enjoy the visit! We look forward to returning on our next trip. Not many of these diners left these days so we like to support those we find.

They allow smoking inside, but the very back room wasn't bad. The dinner selection on the buffet was ok. The fried chicken was made in the same oil they fry fish in, you could taste it. Nothing to write home about. The food was just OK.

4-29-17 Was really good. We had the lunch buffet, they had fried chicken, pot roast, fish and several different veggies. Server was very attentive with the drinks. Have visited several times before and will be back.

The only thing I found decent was the fried chicken! The fried chicken is worth going back but that's about all. The service was less than desirable. The lady at the pay station was very nice.

My family and I stopped in here on Thanksgiving Day since nearby Barkley Lodge was running an hour and a half behind. We walked right in and were seated immediately. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised to see a buffet stocked with all the vegetables, salads, desserts and meats that we used to have at Granny's house! There was homemade banana pudding, chocolate pie, pecan pie, caramel pie and a load of fried chicken that made all 5 of us go back for seconds even though we were stuffed!Oh, I forgot about the staff! They were so nice and graciously attended to our every need!Do yourself a favor and stop there if you are anywhere close or even if you need to make a special trip. It's a good thing I live in Nashville or I'd be a regular!

This is truly the best country comfort food buffet I have ever eaten. We returned the next day for an equally great breakfast. The banana pudding was to die for 🙂

It really is true...the locals know where to eat.

Great food! Home cooked buffet! Fried chicken. 2 types of fish which was really delicious, mashed potatoes, green beans, soup beans, spaghetti, rolls, corn bread plus more! We would go back! We were visiting.

Food at the buffett was good, great price, good service.. But I haven't been in a restaurant that you can still smoke cigarettes in for many years. It surprised me!.

Great home cooked breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff. First visit was in July with 2 adults and 4 kids. We came back again this Saturday 3 adults and 4 kids for the lunch buffet and it was also fantastic with lots of choices. And Sunday we came back with 4 adults and 3 older kids and 4 under 10yrs old and had the great breakfast buffet.

My husband & I have eaten here 1/2 dozen or so times. The food is consistently fresh, delicious & reasonably priced. We try to eat @ Cadiz Family Restaurant every time we are in Cadiz...wonderful place to eat!

I MUST Have Went On A Bad Day. Not OneThing Was Good. Nothing Was Seasoned.Our Waiter Told Us That It Depends On WhoThe Cook " WAS ". We Drove A Long Way ToGet There. Truly Wasn't Worth The Drive. I Probably Won't Be Returning. We Did HaveA FANTASTIC Waiter.

Ate here for dinner after reading the numerous positive reviews. It is a typical diner. The hostess was friendly and the server excellent. The buffet is small with adequate choices. The fried chicken was fair. On the dry side. The sirloin with brown gravy was ok. Tested like frozen tv dinner. The mashed potatoes were ok. The peas and corn excellent. The salad bar was good. The diner was very clean. We will not visit again. Perhaps we should have ordered from the menu.
